Maximilian Lamprecht - Double Bass Recital

As part of the 10 year anniversary celebrations Heppleston Double Basses is proud to present a night of music with Maximilian Lamprecht at London’s 1901 Arts Club on the evening of 30th July 2026.

Max Lamprecht is a double bassist born in Austria. He studied at the City of Edinburgh Music School before continuing his training at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, where he worked with Leon Bosch and Nikita Naumov.

He is a member of the Sinfonia Smith Square Fellowship Orchestra, performing regularly as part of its concert series.

Max performs as both a soloist and chamber musician, with an interest in performing new music aswell as enjoying the classics. 

In 2024, he gave the British premiere of the Walter Ross Concerto for Double Bass, performing on a double bass by Neal Heppleston.
